Comprehensive Feeding Support Services

At The Feeding Corner we provide assessment, therapy and consultation for babies, children and adolescents with feeding and swallowing challenges. We have strong relationships with a diverse network of medical, nursing and allied health practitioners, as well as educators and case managers. We have links with the Children’s Hospitals and non-government organisations and will always work alongside the team members that are integral to your child’s progress.

Eliminating foods or eating a small variety of foods.
Scared of trying new foods or diagnosed with avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID).
Presenting with oral motor difficulties (delayed chewing development, poor sucking, problems with self feeding, difficulty with straw or cup drinking).
Selecting or avoiding foods based on sensory preferences.
Becoming upset or avoiding participation at mealtimes.
Presenting with a history of oral aversion or negative associations with feeding.

Presenting with difficulties managing mealtimes in different environments.
Requiring food modifications that are not in line with their development.
Coughing, choking or swallowing during mealtimes or have a history of frequent chest infections
Requiring support with introducing oral feeds or weaning from tube feeds.
